Cheak out our farm and new facebook page www.facebook.com/farmersinthedell.com

We have recently  started a facebook page.  at www.facebook.com/farmersinthedell.com we are posting pictures of the farm there so come take a peek at our life on a small farm.  We love animals, and enjoy spending time with them. So come take a look.

We recently put these adorable white blue eyed lop eared bunnies up for sale. I have to tell you they are simply adorable.
The farm is a place we can take a break from our busy life and sit for a while and just enjoy watching the animals as they interact with each other.  There is always something going on here.

IDEA FAIR

On Sunday we went to the idea fair. I was hoping to bring some new flowers home. I didn't go with a plan for any certain flowers, but I found a couple of them I just knew I had to have.

The first is a Angel Trumpet and its a beautiful flower to behold. It grows as a bush with extra large flowers in the form of a trumpet. It comes a variety of colors. But I got the last two remaining they had left white and yellow.

The other flower I found and fell in love with is called  A abutilon red tiger. I just love the large orange reddish lanterns just spectacular.

I'm in love with these two flowering plants. If anybody has some advice on them, I sure would love to hear it.

April

April has been a wet but busy month here, with Easter kicking the month off. we have been back and forth with the weather here in the northwest, lots of rain some nice sunny days and yes some cold ones too.  but looking around the fruit trees have blossomed even the ones we severely cut back last fall.

Like this cherry tree here.  And no it is not January 2006 someone got the date set back on my camera. ( I need a new camera)

The rhododendron's are out in full bloom.

we also have these little guys running all over the place  they are the teenagers and now we have the baby bunnies that just started coming out of the rabbit hutch yesterday.  They seem to find their way back in at night.  Its such a joy to watch them hopping about the yard.  Two days ago we saw a bunny a chicken and a duck all eating out of the same feeder together. Now that would of been a good picture to take. where is my camera when I need it. lol
This playground we purchased at Costco for 799.00 it was originally 999.00. We had been talking about getting something for the grand kids to play on when we seen the sale. It had a few weeks to go so we waited till the weekend thinking we had plenty of time to get it. and poof they changed the price again. I couldn't get it for the sale price. they told me it was a promotional sale item that they carry for the sale price until they sell so many.  We had no idea they did that.  It was wrong they did not honor the sale date.
who does that! this was first for us. So after making some calls we were able to get it for the the sale price. We are HAPPY and the grand kids are HAPPY.

We cleaned out our pond after the winter and found out we had 5 Koi left our ducks didn't eat them after all. I wondered all winter. The water got to dirty to tell with the ducks using the pond and the winter debris.

Baby Turkeys we got five. They don't sex them so we don't know how many toms we got out of the batch. they are called royal palms and here's what they will look like.

They are quite the show stopper.  Beautiful! I am so excited.  We are also getting ready for some goats.   And finally we are trying to get our garden up and running. I don't which is the busiest spring or fall.  hope you all had a wonderful month.

"The roofs are shining from the rain,
The sparrows twitter as they fly,
And with a windy April grace
The little clouds go by.
Yet the back yards are bare and brown
With only one unchanging tree--
I could not be so sure of Spring
Save that it sings in me."
